SATURNALIA~ The Fringe Gallery Poetry Wind-up! 3rd December, 2011

It's that time of year again; the annual Fringe Gallery end of year wind up & after party. Featuring music & spoken word by,

Allan Boyd & Maitland Schnaars; The Antipoet and The Enforcer, described as 21st century performance poets in your faces. Raw and political spoken word by two seasoned performance poets.

Kevin Gillam; Yes, we all love him. The wonderful poet & cellist. Kevin Gillam is a Western Australian writer with poems published in numerous journals in Australia and overseas. He has two books of poems published, both by Sunline Press, Other Gravities (2003) and Permitted to Fall (2007). He works as Head of Music at Christchurch Grammar School and free-lances as a cellist and conductor. He is married with two stepchildren.

Neil Preston; Neil has a well-established pedigree of being one of the shining lights of Perth’s powerpop revival in the early 1990’s. Fronting the legendary band A Month of Sundays Neil was able to mix sweet pop melodies with decisive lyrics of love and loss, penned in the great tradition of Elvis Costello, Morrisey, and writers closer to home like Tim Rogers and David McComb.

Amanda Joy; Poet & gardener. Her poetry has been published in many journals & anthologies. She has a fascination with portals and conduits and every now and then she pops out a little limited edition illustrated chapbook for those who ask nicely. She blogs her poetry semi regularly at her website www.littleglasspen.com. Her latest chapbook Orchid Poems was published by mulla mulla press in September.
